Venly respects your right to control your personal data. If you would like to request deletion of specific data associated with your account — without deleting your account entirely — you can do so by contacting our support team.

How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of specific data from your Venly account, follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to support@venly.in
  2. Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
  3. Include the following in your email:
    • Your registered phone number or username
    • A description of the specific data you want deleted (e.g., chat history, profile photo, documents)
  4. Our team will verify your identity and process your request within 7 business days

Types of Data You Can Request to Delete

  • Profile photo or business logo
  • Chat history and messages
  • Optional identity documents (GSTIN, PAN, Aadhaar)
  • Location data
  • Vendor service listings and business details

What May Be Retained

Even after a data deletion request, some data may be retained:

  • Core account identifiers (phone number, username) needed to keep your account active
  • Records required by law or regulation — retained for the legally required period
  • Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you
  • Records of abuse, fraud, or violations — retained for platform safety
