If you would like to delete your Venly account and the data associated with it, you can request this by contacting our support team. This page explains how to submit a deletion request, what data will be deleted, and what data may be retained.

How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your Venly account, follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to support@venly.in
  2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  3. Include the following in your email:
    • Your registered phone number or username
    • A brief confirmation that you want your account permanently deleted
  4. Our team will verify your identity and process your request within 7 business days

What Gets Deleted

Upon account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Your name, phone number, email address, and username
  • Your profile photo or business logo
  • Your location data
  • Your chat history and messages
  • Vendor profile details and service listings (if applicable)
  • Any optional documents you submitted (GSTIN, PAN, Aadhaar)

What May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained after account deletion for the following reasons:

  • Records required by law or regulation (e.g., financial or tax records) — retained for the legally required period
  • Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you — retained for analytics purposes
  • Records of abuse, fraud, or violations — retained as needed for platform safety
